Is your location eligible?

Eligible entities include not-for-profit hospitals, rural hospitals and clinics, mental health clinics, community health centers, and post-secondary educational institutions offering training in health care and medicine.  For these entities, the IRHN has received federal and state funding that pays for all of the backbone cost that is used, and pays for 85% of the last mile connection.

For-profit hospitals are also eligible to be connected, as are medical practitioners and health services companies, but these for-profit entities are required to pay the full cost of connecting to the network.
